To the Justice Hall, and all Faculty there of,
Upon the 23rd of November, this letter has been sent to the investigators of the Imperial Court by the Nobles of House Taves.
My cousin, Duke Nicholas Taves of Brierford, has been absent of contact for many months now. His separation from our great house has caused myself and my kin much stress, and I am here to request an investigation into my cousin’s whereabouts and condition. It is imperative that he be found without haste, for he has many afoot who would benefit from his leave.
