Dear Rebekah, If I did this right you should have received this letter in August or September of 2017. It took a while but the DARPA time travel project worked on the fourth try. It turned out much better than expected; everybody survived the trip this time. Since it was our turn I was getting a little nervous. Today is August 8th, 1945. We set up about 25 miles from Nagasaki to watch the second bomb drop tomorrow. If the weatherman is right, we're upwind. If not, you can have my old iPod, which won't be
invented for another 56 years, so I left it there. We'll all head home tomorrow if all goes well, which should put me back about the same time I left in 2017. Gone for 70 years and not gone a whole day. Wait until I go forward. We'll make a killing in the stock market! Oh, if we happen to miss the time mark and this arrives early, don't tell any of the guys anything about the project. They may not know about it yet. That includes me. Love,
John (Your time-traveling Pstros)
