Dear Atticus, I am writing to inform you of how disappointed I am in you. First off, it is a shame you are defending a black man in court. I understand that this case is taking a personal toll on your family and whatnot, I just don't understand why you would do such a thing. It truly is a shame. It also makes you look bad since Tom was found guilty and you tried to defend him. I understand your theories on Tom's arm disability and such, but I just don't think it
adds up. Second, I don't think you raise your children properly. Scout acts as if she is a young man, not a lady. You shouldn't be allowing her to wear pants and play in dirt. She should be in dresses and be playing with tea pots. She most definitely shouldn't be getting in fights, that's just ridiculous and absurd. Before I close my letter, I want you to know i am not criticizing you, I just do not agree with your decisions. Sincerely, Aunt Alexandra
