I have written to you a few times this week, so you may receive these together, it's been anything but quiet here the last couple of weeks, and I'm feeling myself starting to fuss about Noal, he is beginning to worry me. The guilt that should come with the doings of someone like him on this battlefield should be unbearable, it was to start with but now he has turned somewhat numb. I suppose he is eager to act on his promotion as a primary defense but his growing lack of concern is unsettling. It's becoming harder to watch men change here my dear. I miss being at home with you. I hope the girls are well and keeping up with their studies, it's a big year for Mila such a shame I’m missing it. I feel shameful about the things I’ve done here, I do wish I could come home to my girls 8 months are far too long.
