I regret bitterly the need to leave you in such circumstances. I am not a man to desert my friends unless there is pressing need. As I explained to Valerian I had an errand to run in Misford - much as it pains me that errand must supersede our friendship for a brief time. Had I only to avoid the clerics I would not attach such urgency to it, after all we are old sparring partners them and I! The appearance of the Kaerosians however is a shock and necessitates my dissappearance. It is also apparent that we will find no help for Arlo here - to be frank I had but scant hope of it anyway.


I shall meet with the rest of our company and do what I can for Arlo. We shall wait for you on the road we arrived on - we shall watch for your arrival. We will wait as long as we can but I cannot delay for long. I pray to the true gods that we will meet again.
