Hello, Professor Know-It-All My name is Myneisha Matias, and I just wanted to say that I agree with you on how the Roaring Twenties were a time of great change in the United States. I feel as though they were because people lived carefree. Everybody had cars, radio and telephones for the first time. Many people would’ve disagreed because people had so much freedom, and not one care in the world. But if you look at it from another point of view people were happy because of everything they had and received. The good roads were put to use thanks to the
cars, people could’ve traveled to many places, items got across the country even though the car rides were probably long. Items got from coast to coast thanks to nationwide advertising and the spread of chain stores. The Roaring Twenties were a time of great change economically, socially, and politically. A president did vow to return back to normal all though technology clashed values all contributed to not so normal America. Socially it was a great time because consumer-oriented economy and also mass entertainment. Just in my opinion the Roaring Twenties were probably the best year, So glad it happened even though some
people became greedy in my opinion.
