February 27,1942 I have just read your letter and I am very worried. I have heard several radio broadcasts describing how terrible the war is as of right now. Despite the circumstances, I believe that the American forces will pull through and win. I have attained a job at a factory and also have to discuss the Japanese Internment camps. Terror has spread through the country because almost everyone thinks that the Japanese are spies. FDR has ordered ALL of the people with Japanese heritage to be relocated in the west coast. They are to stay in camps. Even though this
is not morally correct, it is for the best of the country. My best.
