First off it's FREEZING cold its always windy and rainy, did you not wonder why we all stay in crofts WITH our animals... it's to keep us warm. You wont cope!

Secondly we all live close together as clans and ALL clans are crazy. We stick up for each other so if you effect one of us, you effect all of us, and we will come down on you like a hurricane. Even the king encourages us to fight because it will help if we are ever attacked!

Finally our clans have no respect for law and order. We legally steal cattle (Reiving), although that can be quite risky as it is also legal kill those who have stolen from you (A 'Hot Trod')Also we don't like you wardens, my clan (The McHulme Clan) Once killed a warden,we cut of his head and used his hair to tie his head on to our horse.
