Cordaids are quite small creatures, no bigger than dogs. They have large, rounded ears and owl-like caved-in faces. Layers of dense fur coat in moisture. If they get wet, they are likely to hold the water in their fur for a long time. If it was not for this, I’m sure these creatures would be hunted for their soft fur. Oh, imagine how terrible it would be to be caught in the rain with a jacket of Cordaid fur!
The Ethereal created Cordadis and blessed them with incredible hearing. These creatures are known to never be caught off guard
due to their super-hearing that prevents anything from sneaking up on them. They also have been said to have a strong desire to eat carrots out of human gardens!
