6/28/1906We have been in New York for about three weeks now. I found a job as a roofer for a local company. my boss was impressed with my skills, and i told him that i was a roofer back in Germany. The pay is not as good as my job in Berlin but we live. We got Anna into a school. She came home today and told us she made a new friend. Martha is teaching Erich how to read and write so he can start school soon. Until next time - Gustav
