Morrissey’s Not-So-Nice Letter To A Hater

If you are not a fan of The Smiths then you might as well just shut your mouth about it. Take for example this letter addressed to someone whom Morrissey begrudgingly ripped apart using only this handwritten letter. There are nice things to say to an artist and responding negatively who tries to spread their creativity can lead to a very vicious reply.

If you’re unfamiliar with The Smiths, it’s worth noting that they were a British rock band formed in the 1980s, known for their distinctive sound and Morrissey’s poignant lyrics. While their music may not resonate with everyone, it’s important to recognize the impact they’ve had on the music industry and their dedicated fan base. Disagreements about musical taste are perfectly normal, and it’s important to remember that art is subjective. It’s possible to appreciate an artist’s talent even if their style doesn’t align with your personal preferences. Engaging in constructive conversations about music allows for a more diverse and enriched cultural experience for everyone involved.

Dear Person,

So nice to know there’s another soul out there, even if it is in Glasgow.

Does being Scottish bother you? Manchester is a lovely little place, if you happen to be a bedridden deaf mute.

I’m unhappy, hope you’re unhappy too.

In poverty,

Steven
