My dearest wife,
Hello It...
My dearest wife,
Hello. It is spring 1917, and I am writing you from Northern France. I have been spending my days with my fellow soldiers as well as my best friend by the name of Tom Blake. We have been sent on a mission to rescue his brother along with other allies. We spend bunches of time talking, reminiscing, and travelling through trenches. Tom and I are being as careful as we can be and looking out for each other. We are currently travelling through a meadow. How are you? I hope you are feeling okay. Thoughts of you and our child are giving me strength. I am carrying a photograph of you with me near my heart. I have been waiting for news regarding coming home. I will come back to you soon; I can not wait to return and see you. Talk soon.
All my love,
Your William
